Dear Participants and RF,
In accordance with our plans discussed and approved during the summer session in Split, we would like to announce a call for submissions for the forthcoming issue of the philosophical-cultural almanac “PARADIGMA” to be published by St. Petersburg State University Publishing House. The entire issue will be devoted to the topic “Languages of Alternative Culture”. We plan to have two sections. The first will compile teaching materials related to the concrete problems of your undergraduate teaching experiences within the overall framework of the project. Please note that the articles should focus on the problems of scholars and methodological issues (it may be the text of one of your lecture, for example) rather than the presentation of your syllabus. The second section will present theoretical articles that reflect both topics related to the project (“Alternative Culture Beyond Borders: Past and Present of the Arts and Media in the Context of Globalization”) and the title of the almanac (“Languages of Alternative Culture”). Participant submissions will be published in the first section of the almanac and faculty contributions will be published in the second section. The Editorial Board retains the right of selection and editing of the submitted materials. Size of submission: 20 000-30 000 characters including spaces and punctuation marks. Language: Russian is preferable (with an English summary of between 200-250 words) but English texts will be also considered (with a summary in Russian). In the latter case it is up to the author to obtain professional editing and proofreading. Please send your profile along with the paper: full name, place of work, position and e-mail address. Дорогие участники проекта, в соответствии с нашими планами, одобренными во время летней сессии в г. Сплите, в издательстве Санкт-Петербургского государственного университета готовится к публикации специальный выпуск философско-культурологческого альманаха «ПАРАДИГМА», полностью посвященный теме «Languages of Alternative culture». Альманах будет состоять из двух основных частей. В первом разделе публикуются учебно-методические материалы, связанные с конкретными проблемами Вашего учебного курса в рамках общего проекта. Обращаем внимание, что речь идет не о силлабусах или же учебных программах, а о научно-методических статьях, представляющих собой проблемные лекции по Вашему курсу. Второй раздел альманаха посвящен теоретическим статьям, отвечающим как общей теме всего проекта («Alternative Culture Beyond Borders: Past and Present of the Arts and Media in the Context of Globalization»), так и названию альманаха («Languages of Alternative culture»). Участники проекта – студенты приглашаются к участию в первом разделе, преподаватели – во втором. Редколлегия оставляет за собой право отбора и издательского редактирования поступивших материалов. Объем статьи – от 20000 до 30000 компьютерных знаков, включая пробелы и знаки препинания (0,5-0,75 авт. листа). Сноски и примечания печатаются в автоматическом режиме Word 2000-2003 в конце текста. Просьба строго соблюдать рекомендуемый объем. Языки публикаций. Предпочтительным является русский язык (с обязательной аннотацией на английском языке, 200-250 слов). Принимаются публикации на английском языке (с аннотацией на русском). В последнем случае автор обязан максимально корректно подготовить статью к публикации, используя в случае необходимости помощь профессионального переводчика.
